Musing: He knows me

Over the past few days I once again became more profoundly aware that the eternal God knows EVERYTHING about me about you - EVERYTHING. Imagine the one that created everything thinks about you.
  • Psalm 139:1-4 “You have looked deep into my heart, Lord, and you know all about me. 2 You know when I am resting or when I am working,  and from heaven you discover my thoughts. 3 You notice everything I do and everywhere I go. 4  Before I even speak a word, you know what I will say,”

  • Psalm 139:17-18 (ERV) “Your thoughts are beyond my understanding. They cannot be measured! 18 If I could count them, they would be more than all the grains of sand.  But when I finished, I would have just begun.”

Yet in His knowing us there is this bellowing voice that is coming from the most glorious and indescribable throne room full of angels singing. Can you hear it? It is so loud that it causes you to fall to your knees and weep with overwhelming joy. There are only three words - “I LOVE YOU.” Over and over again He speaks. “I LOVE YOU.” He is sending his angels to every corner of the world and they are saying He loved you so much that He sent HIS SON to pay all your debts and there is no sin that his blood doesn’t totally and completely abolish. To the point there is not even a memory of our sin. HE DOES NOT REMEMBER.

Micah 7:18-19 (Message Bible) “Where is the god who can compare with you--
wiping the slate clean of guilt, Turning a blind eye, a deaf ear, to the past sins of your purged and precious people? You don’t nurse your anger and don’t stay angry long, for mercy is your specialty. That’s what you love most. And compassion is on its way to us. You’ll stamp out our wrongdoing. You’ll sink our sins to the bottom of the ocean.”

In Revelation 2 & 3 eight times the Holy Spirit speaks to the people from the seven churches and says, “I know your works.” and in Psalms it says:
  • Psalm 104:14 (TPT)  “You know all about us, inside and out. You are mindful that we’re made from dust.”
He knows all about us and He is saying. “I LOVE YOU.”

Musing: Are you weeping

Is your heart broken? Are you grieving over the state of America? More than ever I can identify with Jesus as he entered the city of Jerusalem on Palm Sunday.  Jesus was looking at the condition of Israel and he was also looking to the future
of Israel and he broke down and wept.
  • Luke 19:41 “Now as He drew near, He saw the city and wept over it”
Are you weeping?
I remember the verse in Isaiah where he says, “wrong would would be right and right wrong.”

Isaiah 5:20-22 (CEV) “You are headed for trouble! You say wrong is right, darkness is light, and bitter is sweet. 21 You think you are clever and smart. 22 And you are great at drinking and mixing drinks. But you are in for trouble”

Isaiah says we are headed for trouble or is trouble already here? He said people would see themselves as clever and smart. Was he foreseeing something beyond Israel?

Moses writes:
  • Deuteronomy 12:8 “You shall not at all do as we are doing here today—every man doing whatever is right in his own eyes”
Are you weeping?

Musing: America

What has happened to America? Yes, we have some serious problems but the following verse says it all.
  • James 1:20 (NET) “Human anger, you see, doesn’t produce God’s justice”

Yes, we need justice for George Floyd but shouldn’t we also get justice for all the businesses that have been destroyed and had things stolen? Justice for all the police who have been hurt?

We are trying to resolve a spiritual problem with natural/political methods .

Praying for revival… Praying that every believer would carry the spirit of revival.
